Manicurist students must complete 300 hours in an approved beauty school or college before applying to the State Board of Cosmetic Arts for examination.     Shunpookan Aikido is a traditional, self-defense focused system, affiliated with the Aikido founder's original Hombu Dojo based in Japan. Aikido takes a non-competitive approach to self-defense and teaches realistic form of self-defense that uses techniques and movement rather than striking and strength to deter attacks. We seek to control the environment to prevent attacks, and if that is not possible, control the attacker to minimize damage to ourselves or those we are responsible for.     This course covers the principles of safe rigging practices for handling, placing, installing, and moving heavy machinery and equipment.
